Got one of these brand new for around $1500, did I do good?

It's the new american made version.

P210 Standard? i haven't heard of that model. Do you mean the US made P210A Target?....new? If so than yes, $1500 is a really good price. The best I have seen them on sale for in stores is something like $1649.

As mentioned, lowest price I've seen was $1649.
Now you could use your savings and shop for some Nill Grips!

Ah.....so a sort of reproduction of the original Swiss service sidearm. I didn't realize Sig USA was making this. Interesting.

Yah, they made a few changes like squaring the trigger guard and adding a traditional button mag release, and changing the safety location. But I'm hoping it still turns out to be a pretty nice pistol. Can't afford an original unfortunately.

Well, I've heard good things about the P210A Target models coming out of New Hampshire so these should be good too. Where did you find one in Canada?

Tenda had one on sale for their anniversary stuff, it was bundled with 1000 9mm so the price was too good to pass up.
