Howa Canadian Predator Rifle

SO Howa uses Nikko Scopes BUT you found it POOR ? Optics ? Ajustment ? OR ? RJ

Came with a Gameking 2.5-10, the reticle was ridiculous, spherical aberration, just your typical $50 Chinese throw away scope.
The guns are great, don't expect much from the scope.

Thanks - The HOWA rifle package comes with a MUCH better scope ( Nikko Diamond 4-16x50 Scope ) then the Gameking is ! RJ

Still wouldn't count on it being very useful. Best to budget for some decent optics, sell the Nikko and put the money towards that.
A good rifle deserves a good scope.

I actually got one of these but have yet to shoot it... ill probably go next week, any tips or advice on what ammo to feed it? Any issues? I love the color scheme and feel of the whole package

Got mine as a birthday present to myself in 6.5 and love it. Yes, I probably will upgrade the scope at some point soon (I’ll still keep the one that came with it for something else) but a great shooter. I was on my second trip out to the range when I happen to see there was another one set up only a few bays down in 6.5 as well. I thought the likelihood of seeing another one would be slim, and completely unlikely on a day I was heading up. He’d owned it much longer, and was fine tuning his load development by that point. Here I was just learning the rifle on factory loads and saving the brass for when I go to reload. It did say, I probably hadn’t made a bad investment after all.

I love my Howa. I got the naked black APC however so I cant comment on the scope or bipod. The price was appealing but I wasn't a big fan of the Canadian version color scheme .

I mounted a Vortex diamondback tactical ffp 6x24x50 on a MDT 20 MOA rail, Caldwell accumax bipod and a cadex brake. Sweet rig! So fun to shoot. I definitely recommend.
