Same Group at 100 - 200 yards

There is a study done on this topic in the Applied Ballistics book "Modern Advancements in Long Range Shooting" cant remember if it is in Vol. 1 or 2. It explores whether a bullet "goes to sleep" after a certain distance to create smaller groups at further distance. Their conclusion was that it is false, and most likely contributed to a finer aiming point due to the target appearing smaller at further distances.

My money is on form as well. In your subconscious 100m is a chip shot and concentration goes out the window. Also letting the barrel cool between shots you are coming back to the gun in a slightly different position every time. Try paying attention to the shape of the group, ie. vertical or horizontal stringing and you will have a better idea what to fix.
