Can someone explain in what way a No 15 sniper chest differs from a Cno7 chest?
If someone added a 2 inch row of wood around the bottom sides, would that be the only difference?
Anyone have a stencil of the correct No 15 printing and info on what green paint to paint a box with?

The likelihood of getting the right box these days is pretty low without real deep pockets...

You want REALLY rare? How about the transit chest for the Vickers Tripod?
Most of those were broken up for firewood. (took me quite a while to find one);)

While I am at it, when the No4Mk1T was first issued, someone in the ministry had forgotten to order transit chests for them, so the initial cases were modified Bren transit chests.

Here's a weird one for a No.4 Mk1(T) from "4 Commando" (marked on butt) which originally belonged to Sergeant Taffy Evans. ... :D

Custom chest, modified from an old artillery ammunition case. This style case was used for artillery ammo for many years and is still a common item at many of the older surplus shops.
