GSG-16 First Hands On in Canada

Just when I promised my wife I wouldn’t be buying anything else for a while. AND it’s left friendly. Well, looks like it’s time to go through the safe and see what’s going up for sale to get one of these beauties

I think it looks 100x better with the rails removed. Now, is there a way to get the HK style diopter sights on it? I see there is a GSG 522 kit that has a new front part that has the hooded front sight. Is there a way to change the rear sight? Hmmmm.... The more I look at it, that 522 kit probably wouldn't work on the front end...

That thing is crying for a flat top delete, old school H&K diopters, round fore grip and larger diameter barrel shroud ala MP5SD
 
thanks for posting the pics Bfiles... congrats on being the first person in Canada to get one of these. Please let us know how it shoots when you get a chance.
 
Seeing how it groups at 50y will be determining factor for me, don't want to rush on this one until I see some groups. The proof is in the pudding as some say, although my finger is itching to hit that "buy" button lol.

Will be a bonus if it's accurate. I doubt that's the point of this type of firearm. The primary objective is look cool, be reliable and fun.
