Say boys if you haven't stocked up yet on you fav. Noslers I'd suggest you run out and do so. The new price on a box of 30 cal bullets will be as much as $8.00 higher per box, likely less for smaller calibers and likely more for larger. FS

That sucks, just last week I was in Seattle for a few days, hit a few local gun stores. I had in my hand a box of 165 and 180 grn Nosler Accubonds, either one was $19.95 I was so tempted, but didn't!! I know the materials are going up, but we're getting hosed on both ends.

I see Wholesale has 180 grain, 30 calibre Partitions listed at $45.00 per box and 168 grain TSX at $49.00 :puke:

Even common cup & core bullets like the Hornady Interlocks and Sierra Game Kings are approaching 30 bucks a box.

$57 before taxes for the Partitions here
$73 for the Hornaday
$59 for the TSX

:eek::rolleyes:

$73 for the Hornady Interbonds maybe, not Interlocks

Interlocks are running $32-34 a box in 30 cal

TSX in 30 cal are $50-55

yup, it sucks

168TSX x 50/7000 = 1.2lbs.

Copper is at $3.40 today. Thats $4.08 for the materials, must be that fancy box.......:rolleyes:

YEP! That Barnes box is genuine plastic which is made from oil which is also in high demand right now. The little piece of anti-rattle foam in the box is also a petroleum product so the cost goes up some more. :p At the end of the day the packaging may be more expensive than the product ..............

translates into "so much for distributors dropping the prices to retailers as the dollar gets stronger"

for the most part, retail shops arent gouging...there is not much money in guns/powder/bullets/ammo - fact!

I was in Montana - Idaho last week and I didn't think there was much savings to buy down there. Now an $8.00 increase would be a difference. Powder was a much different story. About half of what we pay.
