I'm pumped....got home from work and much to my surprise my New Scope was waiting for me ! :D

I was getting abit concerned given the date and all........

I had a VX II 3-9x40mm mounted up but really had my sights set on one of the "Ultralight" models, particularly the 3-9x33. The 8.8 Ounce weight is amazing for a Variable scope :)

It's finally here (none to soon....) and all Mounted up ready for the range.

The whole Package now tips the scales at a whopping 6 lbs even, rifle, scope, rings and sling !

Sweet looking setup! What is the caliber? At 6 lbs it must be nice to carry. And how the heck do they shave so much weight off the setup???

Cheers
Jay

Nice rig for sure. What is the mounting length of the compact? My sako with the optilocks doesn't give much room to mount a short scope, without stretching your neck anyway.

It's got exactly 5-1/2 "s of mountable tube....total length 11 Inches.
Seems to have lots of "length" even for a compact.
Hope this helps:wave:
