what do you guys do with spent primers?

hi all, i usually end up with a few thousand & was wondering what if anything i can do with them? or if you guys have found anything useful to do with them?

I keep a coffee can full in the car. T
hey work great on ice and hard packed snow if you get stuck.

Collecting them in mason jars. One day I will smelt them into ingots and then to the scrapers for $$$

I place each one back into an empty pack and return them to the manufacturer for recycling.

Once full it goes to a scrap metal place. Never had questions about brass or primers.

Me too. Life is too short to expose yourself to a can of spent primers covered in lead dust to gain a couple of dollars.

My philosophy as well

I pop out about 20K primers per year, I never thought of doing anything with them other than putting them in the trash.

Lay them down , cups facing up staggered between blocks of LEGO near my entrances.

Suck them up with a vacuum cleaner. Don't know what happens to them after that.

Yup, absolutely nothing happens.

It would take roughly 1500 spent primers to make a pound. While the anvil is brass, the cup is an alloy. It would be considered a contaminate is a bucket of yellow brass and the price you receive will be adjusted accordingly.

Tiny bits of anything just end up ground into the dirt at the scrap yard anyway.
