Rifle length with carbine buffer

I wonder if C7A2 buttstock was a politically correct accommodation. It was odd anywhere else.

Well CF doesn't make the best choice with their equipment ( LSVW, 4 mag pouch vest ) I think it was just quick solution for different people LOP and body armor.

We had like four different stock lengths for the C7 and C7A1 with a physically shorter stock and some spacers. The telescoping stock is just a very easy way of changing the length of pull depending on a member's height and also if you're wearing body armour or not. It's not as stable as a fixed stock but it's very neat.

They also say they used old surplus CAR stocks because they are easier to decontaminate. M4 type is more comfortable, and many other even more so.

I am running a 26 inch barrel with plus 3 gas system and adjustable block with carbine buffer that runs great...swap lowers so don't want a rifle length.

Sorry I'm a noob to the AR world, what's a plus 3 gas system? carbine, mid and rifle length?

It's a gas system 3 inches longer than rifle length. The tube is 3 inches longer and the gas block journal is 3 inches further down the barrel

Stick with a H buffer, get a lightweight BCG from brownells (very pocket book friendly) and adjust your gas block as described when setting it up.

You'll have a soft and fast shooter with no reliability issues. It's a misconception that lightweight builds are unreliable.

I never heard of plus 3. Thw weirdest thing I heard was pistol gas tube on rifle barrel. Have no idea why they would do that.

You won't be disappointed, they are just as good or better than some of the big name brands for a fraction of the cost. All my BCG's are brownells, I bought 6 when they were on sale, not sure if the sale is still going.

Perfectly fine to re sell within the country. The end user agreement is an agreement between brownells and the purchaser stating the purchaser will not EXPORT the item out of the country. This is what sandy told me when I called.
