My Provincial Squib

Well I was downloading my vids and pics from the Ont Provincials....

Sure enough my darling wife was able to catch me on our very first stage (stage 1)....

I had just picked up my Limited Custom on Saturday night.....(thanks Alex).

Sunday I managed to get 10 rounds off that Alex had given me as there was an event at EESA. But that was all that I managed to shoot out of it before the match.

Monday (long weekend) I set up my new LNL for .40.........and made 100 "test" rounds. This was my first time loading .40

Then I put together 300 "competition" rounds (ended up chronying at 178 pf)

Packed everything Tuesday night after a late night at the office..............

Wednesday morning I put the 100 "test" rounds in my box in case I got into trouble in terms of reshoots and needed ammo......(bad idea)

Sure enought Wednesday for my first stage I GRABBED THE 100!!

ARGH!!

But........at least you can see a first rate CRO in action catching a squib!!

(oh the rest of my ammo was fine!!)....

Yes I was feeling GREAT! (which is of course why the storm gods SMOTE me!)


As it was I still had the best match of my life using the LC. I did some quick calculations based on my final time and I would have been higher by 10 places at least if I did not squid...(assuming my accuracy stayed stable).

See what some hints from a GM and a new gun and gear will get you!!
