Anyone ever bought western munitions remanufactured .45 ACP ammo? Wondering how the brass is on it as I plan on reloading it after I shoot it

Sounds good. In that case I will probably go with commercial blazer brass. 139$ for 300 at CSC versus $100 for 250 of the western

I'd pick pretty much any of the other commercial reloaders over them... BDX, Maple Ridge, WASP, Wolf etc.

I haven’t tried the Western Metal but I definitely wouldn’t take BDX .45 over anyone. It was all small pistol primed and I had a lot of duds, with a bone stock CZ 97B and a couple different 1911s.

I will admit, it's been a few years since I have bought any BDX ammo. Mostly just component bullets, which are fantastic. Too bad the QC has apparently gone downhill.

Can’t help you with the 45 acp but the the 45 Colt reloads I bought from them were all new Starline brass. I shot them passed my Lab Radar and had extreme spreed at 54 and standard deviation at 18.7 with average of 689 FPS. Shot 2 inch groups at 25 yards off of a rest. It was a great deal as now I have 400 45 Colt Starline brass that I’ve been reloading.
The only other reloads I’ve bought there were some 9 mm and 223 a couple years ago and they were as good or better than any BDX or Wolf reloads I’ve bought over the years.
