Nikon Prostaff 5 scopes

Prophet river has some great prices on these and the prostaff 7 in their liquidation right now.

Has anyone compared the prostaff 5 vs the 7? Other than tube size is there much difference or does the 7 have better optics?

I have a 5 in 4.5-14 mil dot and a 7 in 2.5-10 with the bdc reticle. Bought both from Prophet River during different clearance sales. Great value, great glass. I haven't had both out together, but I'd say they are pretty similar.

I have three Nikon, including one Prostaff 5. I would not buy or try anything else.
