.685-40 die and tap

Looking for a Canadian source for a .685-40 die (most important) and tap. Yes Brownells has them, just wanting to see if I can source locally.
The mission is installing a new comp on an open gun. Just have to chase the threads that's all. The 1 degree cut is another problem that hopefully I won't have to deal with if things line up.

Buy it from Brownells. That's about as non-standard as you can get.

Any machine tool supply house will be able to sell you one.
Order, pay, wait for delivery of a custom tap and custom die.

Likely not for as cheap as Brownells.

KBC Tools might have something like this, although if it's a really uncommon size they may not. Might be something they could bring in?

I know they do carry the more standard rifle sized taps/dies for brakes, like 5/8"-24.

Thanks everyone, I broke down and ordered from Brownells - maybe an algorithm thing, but they had them on sale when I checked today so went for it. Now here is hoping i don't have to re-cut my slide or barrel!

You must have a different metric system where you grew up, because 40 TPI, isn't even a little bit close to 1mm pitch.

.6875 would be 11/16 which KBC carries 11/16"-40 for about $6.

soo depending on your tolerances and class of thread ... may have worked.
