Ag42b mag rivet placement help

Hi, could someone who has an ag42b pinned from the rear of the mag measure and let me know the measurement to the center of the rivet please

Mine is internal in the mag body,no rivet on the outside.

Thanks , I'm trying to help someone out who just inherited one that hasn't seen the light of day for 30 or 40 yrs and mag is original, I would rather rivet instead of weld , that way if laws ever change or sell to a different country they can just take rivet out .

I'm sorry, that was a long time ago, I can't remember exactly. I remember it was easy to disassemble the magazine, and I put something in it that must have gone up the middle of the spring. If you could bend something up shaped like a U with feet, you could rivet the feet to the bottom of the mag.

No welding was done,just some sheet metal epoxied to the inside of the mag around the perimeter,30 mm from the bottom.Very cleanly done and nothing showing on the outside.
Also a rivet on the outside may prevent the mag from latching in the rifle.
