Where's you get the Tapco stock? I was thinking of getting one for a 10/22 ...

Also, can you hit anything without the butt stock? I know I couldn't...

and i've yet to fire it with pistol grip only, i was cleaning it this morning and had the butstock off of it and thought it looked cool. i dont expect good acuracy without the fulll stock. but with that sling in hangs on your chest or back and its nice and compact. kinda like a spur of the moment coyote dispatcher

it didnt have a wood stock, it had an original fibreglass one, kind of a reddish colour, not sure what year. the only "thing" with the gun is that the bayo-lug was ground off.

heres what it looked like, the length of pull was way to short to shoot comfortably (big guy, 6'3 200lbs) , so i got the tapco.

now , im really jeolous , not only did you not get a sh*tty wood for $100 but you got a better reddish fiberglass one instead.:evil:

also your barrel is the full lug threaded type .

the factory number is on the left side of the receiver, the number is in the triangle , not easy to read at first so check with the sks sticky.

the year it was produced is the millionth number so if it was in 1965 , it would be 9,###,### .

9+1956 intro year= 1965 , this works with some factories but not all.

yeah, i dont know why commie have such short stock , even the czech VZ is the same. i just buy one of those butt pads.

Have you ever seen most eastern block troops. there 5'8" and under and have to wear alot of cheap wool shirts to stay warm in the winter lol
which makes the short butt prefect:)
