Hey everyone, I've been target shooting for a few years now, but I'm just starting to hunt. I just bought a 22lr bolt action and I am looking at getting a scope for it. I target shoot a lot, but I'm looking for a scope that'll work well for both. The ones I've been considering are 2-7x, 2.5-10x, 3-9x or a 3-12x. I was just wondering what others think would be the best options. I'm not set on a particular brand, but I've been looking at the Bushnells and would like to stay under $250. I'm planning on setting up my Ruger 10/22 with a red dot for faster, closer hunting. Thanks!
Scope for rabbit hunting/target shooting?

I hunt rabbits with a 3-9x40 but I’d easily go with a 2-7x32, I rarely dial up past 5x when small game hunting.
