The Local Canadian tire sports store, here in Fort McMurray has Min 30% of all firearms at the moment, I seen Remington CDL stainless for 11-1200ish, model 70 featherweight for a bit less, and a finnlight 270 for $1900 odd, as well as the few Steyr rifles, now at a sensible price. at least 200 centerfires.
Its a couple days since I was in and bought a Winchester SX4 3" for $884, $340 off there normal price,
A Remington CDL Stainless in 7mm magnum, or a 270, 3006, in a sporter, Sako or M70, ticks a lot of boxes, for a working hunting rifle.
