sorry guys ... another "Where can I buy this" thread ...

I am looking for a LMT BCG but of course .. not available in Canada ... it looks like Questar used to sell LMT but they are gone....

Is there other places that have LMT parts?

cheers

Matt

LMT is supposed to be better tho with non milspec features they have?

Are you talking about the enhanced carrier? Those enhanced carrier ( LMT and KAC ) came out back in the Sopmod 2 and Pre-SCAR days in 2004/05 ish but they never took off. They were products of the GWOT era when Colt was pumping out M4s like crazy and supplying substandard parts due to war demand. When the quality got back to normal, and the noises about enhanced carriers died too. I haven't heard any outcry and demand for enhanced bolt carriers in the last 10 years.

BTW, the LMT enhanced carrier only works for 14.5" and shorter.

If you want "better", mid length gas system is the better way to increase dwell time.

Enhanced carrier is kinda useless. The bolt itself has the lobster tail for better extraction radiused lugs for better stress distribution and is made of a stronger steel. Standard m16 bcg is g2g. The standard m16 bcg lmt makes is one of the best values for high quality bcg.

Cc is grossly overpriced get a bcm or dd unit for less money.

LMT's standard bolt is better designed than traditional mil-spec bolts. They machine a relief around the bolt head behind the bolt lugs which makes the lugs fatigue/crack less quickly than a mil-spec bolt.

would be nice if you could buy it, but cant

Standard or their enhanced bolt? I have one of their m16 bcg and it looks pretty standard milspec to me.
