I purchased a Springfield Stainless Mil-Spec 1911 .45 brand new last month, and it took less than two boxes of .45 to figure out im not a 1911 type of guy :(

Needless to say it is in very close to mint condition, and it came with a Kydex holster, 2 mag pouches, and two sets of grips.

I paid 950 + tax (1083.00). What do you think I could sell it for? Is there a demand for this gun?

Thanks in advance :)

There's a demand if the price is right!

I would say your gun took a hit of about 30% after the first round was put through it... I would be listing it in the $650-$700 ballpark. I think it would sell at that price. The closer you get to the MSRP price, the harder of a time you will have to sell it.

I think that's too much depreciation, it's not a car, after all.;)

Forget about the tax and shipping, knock 10% of the list price, and reduce by $50/week 'til it sells.

I would sell it for $850.00 and post some detailed pics of some really good views, and someone will grab it off you faster than you can say snap, crackle, POP!....you'd probally get alot of offers for $800 shipped.

Good quality pics will help to sell it if you are going to list it on the EE... no, not "PM for pics" or "Pics by E-mail" but pics posted in the thread... ;)

That's about the best way to move an item. Personally, I give ads with pics about 10x more attention than those without.

I've already got some PMs about this gun. I didn't know they were that popular. I am going to take some more detailed pics and post it in the next couple of days.
