They have all the leading name brands, they are good enough to get you on the paper.

I don't use them myself, I just look down the bore and move my sight to reflect what I see. Works for ne and it's free.

You do realize these get you on paper, not perfectly dialed in right? These might get you in the ballpark but you can't just slap one of these in your chamber, adjust your scope, and expect to be hitting the bullseye right away. You'll still need to fire some rounds, adjust again to where the bullets are actually going, and then confirm your zero with a few more rounds.

I just set the rifle on a good rest, pull the bolt, look through the barrel to line it up on a target, then adjust scope and go from there. No fancy laser doohickeys required.

I'm thinking of for my AR 10 rifles, cannot pull the bolt in those haha, but yup I have a in barrel one but was suggested I get the in chamber one, I have to try to get irons sighted on my stag 10, the local rang has not been open in the summer, no idea why, so gotta scare neighbors hsha

I have a few cheap ebay ones. Like 5$ each with batteries and case. They work pretty good. Undersized though. I find the best way to use them is to remove the bolt and use your thumb to push the back of the bore sighter in tight to the shoulder or rim. Using the bolt often will have it not on the paper.

Although now i just look down the barrel and line it up on target like a peep sight. Then move my head to look through scope or irons to see what they are pointed at and make adjustments.

Both ways get you on paper within minutes before i shot is fired. But only one way is free. Although with levers, break barrels or semis you may want a bore sighter.

You have AR10 rifles in 7.62x39 and 303brit? Lol

Yeah for certain guns looking down the barrel is not so easy... I don't think the chamber ones are any better than the in barrel ones though, just less dicking around to get it set up. Personally I would just stick with what you've got.

Traditional bore sight works no problem with ar. Take off upper and sight it in

I have a Wheeler laser boresighter that sticks to the end of the barrel with a strong magnet, so it should be useable with most firearms. It has worked very well for me for sighting in; much better than the laser boresighters that you stick in the end of your barrel, which I was previously using. I haven't tried the cartridge style to compare, however.

Someone advertised a no-name one in .303British in the EE recently.* They aren't common in that calibre. I have one, it works, but not as well as the brand names like Sightmark (they made the Cabela's ones and for the price and the trouble I'm no better off than using the old typ optical one I have (Tasco) that mounts on an arbor stuck in the muzzle. I have a Cabela's laser which is a .223 cartridge size and can insert into other cartridge sizes but I think they don't carry them anymore. They do work well and are easy to use.
