Like the title says.I'm shooting the sniper match at NSCC and don't have a partner yet.
Qualifications are:1.You can spot.
2.You shoot first so I can spot for you.
3.You can spot.
4.You can read wind a little(won't matter so much because I'll be watching too)
5.You can spot.
Let me know on here.

I've had just a little practice spotting but not much! Don't really like the wind so I may be no good to you. Wish I were there to keep an eye on what you're doing. Making sure you're doing everything right.

I believe 8mm is the max caliber allowed as stated below.
(1) Subject to Rule 11.19 and the remainder of this Rule, any ammunition may be used in 'F' Class competitions that fits within the military safety template for the range being used. A maximum calibre of 8mm applies at Connaught Range and Primary Training Centre. The maximum calibre limits for events held at other venues may differ, and must be determined and promulgated in advance by the organizers of those events.

I also read in the NSCC rules annex that the sniper falling plates competition is not being run due to time limitations. That's too bad, I've been practising.

Apparently annex f says the falling plates is not going to happen, but annex g says it is. Guess we'll find out on Tuesday.

OK, Longshot

Don't start something you can't finish...princess. Did you manage to find someone who will shoot with you?? I've been busy of course. Knee operations, hunting and in that order. Managed to get myself a Bison draw too so will be leaving in September.
Oh, If you want any pointers on how to put the bullets where you want, make sure you give me a call. :)

And yes my computer did come with a keyboard. Kids usually hold this one at gun point though. Did I raise them right or what??
 
I'm Blind, I cannot read good, I can spot, see the bullet going that way... Yeah I can read wind, its coming that way fast.

I should be good.....:D
 
Further to this,, I was looking for a partner up until two weeks ago,, but it is too late for me now as I have committed to other things early next week. I will be shooting the pistol matches in the evening and then the service rifle starting on Friday.

2000 posts......wow you rock!!!! Are you sur eyou don't need a few pointers. At least to let you know which end the bullets exits...
It may help you a bit. Remember if you find someone...you are shooting first, right?
The shooter is only as good as the spotter. Your only a glorified bus driver putting the crosshairs where your told too.
Not sure if you can keep up with me?:)
