5.56 ammo purchase

Picked up some 5.56 ammo AE today and I'm wondering what to except as far as recoil and accuracy compared to .223
It says "Military grade" whatever that may be?

120 rounds for $72

feels exactly the same. .223 doesnt really have much recoil to begin with

All depends on what you're shooting it in! If in an AR, probably not much difference (depending on barrel twist and bullet weight). If in a commercial .223 rifle, your accuracy might suffer a bit. We need much more info. Rifle, bullet weight, barrel twist rate. Then there are manufacturer variations........

I've always been tempted to try 5.56 when it goes on sale (AR15). Would also like to know if there are any advantages considering it costs more than 223.

I find it to be more accurate
