5 handguns you dont have and you dont want.

there aren’t many guns I wouldn’t at least TRY, then sell if I couldn’t deal with some aspect of it. Charter Arms; I had a Bulldog a long time ago, and it was a lot of fun. Micro Beretta; literally could not hit the broad side of a barn with it, .22 short, tip barrel. inaccurate, impossible to hold with more than 2 fingers, great fun. a “wobbly Webley”, massive, clumsy, sloppy, dirty...fun to shoot.
guns I would not spend money on, but would try if given to me;
Tokarev, Makarov, Nambu, any of the new “Space Cadet” Beretta .22LR. I’m sure they’re fine firearms, but I don’t care much for being laughed at. Desert Eagle, any calibre, any finish.
Some of the best guns I’ve ever owned are mentioned here; Rossi. I’ve had three, down to one carbine now, and it’s my Go-to bush gun. fast, light, accurate. Taurus have always treated me well, as have Norinco. .22’s I have a model 17 S&W target masterpiece from the 70’s, one of the most accurate guns I’ve ever owned. Ruger Mark IV tactical. Enormous fun whether box stock or custom everything. incredibly accurate, very well made.

I’d never own these:

- S&W SD9VE (junk gun)
- Glocks (not my thing)
- Norcs (rather buy the original gun)
- Tokarev (not my thing)
- host of other entry-level guns from far away countries with crappy triggers, bad ergos, and poor parts availability

I don’t have the time nor patience to be frustrated by poor QA, and I’m not interested in collecting guns. I use them for competition, so they need to be reliable and do their job well.

I'll take anything if it's free.

Otherwise the Don't Want list is far longer than the Want list.

I've got myself figured out pretty good at this point

im surprised to see Kimber on there.
i picked one up about 10 years ago and i absolutely love it, fit and finish are the best ive ever seen in a 1911 (dont get much super high end 1911's up here) and its never failed me.

Over the years, i did tons of reading and saw many reviews on Kimber, there were to many lukewarm reviews to gain confidence.

I bought one years ago on-sale. For some crazy reason its grown on me, and is my favorite "blasting away at the range for fun" gun. Probably because I don't care about it. It gets used and abused. But man, it has never missed a beat. Side by side to a Glock 19, when disassembled and going over details, it almost seems like a better made 19. I think I'm gonna get roasted now....flame suit on. Lol

Kimber is the #1 example of why you shouldn't put too much stock in the opinions posted on internet forums.

-Alfa Proj-weird looking grip
-Sig Mosquito-break-o-matic
-.22 revolvers-had several, waste of engineering for such a puny round.
-S&W model 422-hideous!
-Chiappa Rhino-simply put....WTF!!!!
-IWI Jericho- extremely comfortable grip but that big undercut wedge at the muzzle just angers me
