5 handguns you dont have and you dont want.

A Cabot 1911. I'd rather keep shooting my second-hand Springfield mil spec than anything they make. Their over the top presentation is enough to sour me on the brand. Just me, I know people are gaga over their pistols.

Over the years, i did tons of reading and saw many reviews on Kimber, there were to many lukewarm reviews to gain confidence.

so you based your opinion that their guns are POS because you read a couple lukewarm reviews?
what about the online reviews that are positive?

i honestly cant or dont understand why so many people hate on Kimber.
i love mine.
everyone that ever shot mine says its the best 1911 they've ever handled (keep in mind we dont see any LB or such up here)
and ive never met anyone who has had any issues with their Kimbers.
my dad picked up one of their higher end ones and its a work of art, so tight with the fit and finish!

maybe ignore the online haters and go check one out yourself, you might be surprised.
or, you might actually hate them, haha!

-Alfa Proj-weird looking grip
-Sig Mosquito-break-o-matic
-.22 revolvers-had several, waste of engineering for such a puny round.
-S&W model 422-hideous!
-Chiappa Rhino-simply put....WTF!!!!
-IWI Jericho- extremely comfortable grip but that big undercut wedge at the muzzle just angers me

its always amazed me the cult like following the 422/622 has.
i own them both and id agree they are a strange looking pistol.
but, they shoot like a dream!

Glock and most other plastic guns (Do not like the look and muzzle flip)
Anything made by chiappa ( crappy triggers)
1873 SAA ( do not like the grip)
Anything made by Taurus ( cheap, low quality S & W clones)
Desert Eagle (44 Mag is a revolver cartridge. And because it is a semi, you cannot load it down) But, if one was given to me, I mihjt (reluctantly) accept the gift :')

Reading reviews is quite enlightening, i did before i bought my Les Baer and my Nighthawk, i dont recall one reviews that were not positives with those pistols.

Happy for you your Kimber is performing good.

1) Desert Eagle (grips too big for my hand, to shoot single-handed, and I have large hands)
2) Luger (just not my cup of tea)
3) Chiappa Rhino (again, just not my cup of tea)
4) Glock (do not like the fit in my hand)
5) yet to be determined

Any version of the skorpion 61
Any desert eagle
Beretta Neos
Any big boomer. Don’t see much point since you can’t hunt with it in Canada
Tokarev, just doesn’t do anything for me
Luckily for us its classified as a rifle in Canada. It is the most stupid pointless gun ever made. However it is one of my most fun guns to shoot. I wouldn't get rid of it, ever voluntarily. It gets more use then most of my guns. Have you ever fired one?

Liberator. Actually, I wouldn't mind having one as a curio, but I wouldn't want to fire it. I'd include anything made in the Philippines or Pakistan in the same category.

Also surprised to see so many Lugers on the list. Wonder if it is because folks don’t think they are good shooters, have had reliability problems, or just don’t like them. The unique (and I think beautiful) design and historical significance makes them worth owning as a collector if nothing else imo, but maybe that is a different category.

I was surprised by this too! I would love to own a Luger. I only fired one once but it was a lot of fun!
