New store that sells - some- hunting gear opening in Ottawa

There's a new sporting goods store opening soon in Ottawa. It's called Decathlon. They don't sell guns or ammo (I think) but they do have some interesting prices on things like packs, camo, cases, etc. They're a company operating out of Quebec and will be opening on St-Laurent Blvd on September 21st.

Ooops, apparently they're European based.

They may end up selling guns once they open (I hope they do - more the ammo than the guns), but for now, their web site doesn't mention it.

No sign of that on their web page, looks to be all urban millennial style outdoor pursuits, sort of like Sports Experts. Time will tell of course and any alternative to the commie co-op is welcome.

Unlikely they'll sell firearms, they're basically a euro version of Sport Chek. So lots of track suits, sneakers, mediocre skis and crap bootfitting.
