What he said - therefore, the DPM Recoil Reduction System is not legal in Production / Production Optics / Production Optics Lite.Aftermarket springs are ok, guide rods are not.
Since the OP seems to have his answer I don't feel too guilty derailing the thread. Do those things actually work/make a difference? I don't know anyone who has one.

Seems to be pretty mixed reviews on them. Some say that they do nothing and are a waste of money, others swear by them.

There are officially only three Canadians at the EHC; two that shoot CZs in Prod and one that shoots Tanfoglio in Standard, so I’m a bit confused by this.Well they just allowed this system to be used at the European Championships that were just held. There was quite the discussion about it on Facebook. It was used by a Canadian competitor in a Beretta.
I think it depends on the gun/ammo combination. In my Tanfoglio Limited Custom .40s&w I'm already shooting very soft recoiling hand loaded 220gr 800fps ammo and I have a thumb rest so I didn't perceive any difference. But in my M&P using factory 124gr 1150fps ammo, yes I notice it just doesn't feel like the slide is slapping into the frame as hard when it cycles. But that also tells me that it's just one poorly loaded round away from a short cycle and a failure to feed.

If the International Body has changed their ruling, it needs to be confirmed and then word can be spread here.
Any chance you have a name? Thanks.
Thanks - John - strange - he normally shoots Standard; not production. Now I have something to go on. I'll check into it - Thanks! He has a youtube channel called Shooter's Inc, and his first name is John. I'm sure you can figure out his last name Sean.
Thanks Rob. I've emailed John for details, and will contact IROA for info. They told me last year that DPMs were no-gos. If they've reversed that decision; they didn't bother to let the regions know. I don't care one way or the other, we just need to know.Yes John used a borrowed a Beretta 92x from Beretta and it had a DPM setup in it and it was known to IROA during equipment check and throughout the match. One weird one was the Toni systems grips being denied for Production on a Shadow 2.

I have confirmed with IROA and the IPSC Executive that the DPM remains prohibited from use in the Production divisions guns.I wouldn't be surprised if they reversed from EHC lol
