338 lapua magnum

I think he is trying to ask...

"How much is a used Sako model m995 in 338 lapua mag worth. It has only fired 20 rounds and has a black synthetic stock."

Amphibious... Not everyone on this site speaks english well. I'd rather have a guy contribute to the forum and be on our side than have him say that the guys on CGN are not nice. It's his first post, and it might have taken alot of courage to try and communicate in english!

Cheers
Jay

The TRG-S 338 Lapua was selling for around $800 when first introduced. The used ones are bringing more than that now because of the scarcity of 338 Lapua rifles. It is up to you how much you want to pay for one. In it's factory form the barrel was very light and not a good rifle for someone who intends to do alot of shooting off the bench, the barrels heat up very quickly. They were designed as hunting guns and they are very well balanced in their factory form. When rebarreled with a heavier and longer barrel they make a nice setup for sustained firing at the range. My opinion is if you are going to buy this gun and rebarrel, don't do it your better off to build something.
