458 Win. Mag...Enough gun??

I sincerely hope you warned everyone in the area. Wounded killer rabbits aren't something anyone wants to come across. Next time take a along a buddy who has ice running thru his viens to back you up. You were lucky man.

Somebody needs attention or just wants to publicize the fact that he shoots a .458WM. If he does, really and truly, why not go to the dark continent and put it to it's intended use. I call BS and a totoal waste of time.

You made a terrible mistake. Never go after bunnies by yourself. You need someone to back you up with a "stopper" in case a fast follow up shot is needed. The .458Win is fine for general use, but lacks the punch to deal with these killers when wounded. It's gonna be a dangerous job tracking that bunny now. It could be hiding somewhere ready to pounce ......

Just to help a few people out........

No bunnies were harmed in the making of this story;)

All involved are trained professionals...PLEASE don't try this at home....With out parental supervision.:)

You know me too well....:)

The shot wasn't 50 yards either....It was 50 feet:redface:

It fell short of the bunny....I found the bullet on the ground, so I picked it up and threw it at the rabbit....He ran away....:runaway:

Bunnies are BIG and viscious, thats why i put my .458 to the side and decided i would have better luck on them with a 460 wby...but for some reason i still fell undergunned..
