Autoloader purchase for goose season

2 3/4 inch over decoys will do the job just fine
3 inch a little beter
a 12 gauge in 3 1./2 inch kills at one end and wounds at the other
if you really feel the need for 3 1/2 inch buy a 10 gauge browning gold
as well with the 3 1/2 inch 12 gauge
I often wonder what the shot string is like???
compared to a 2 3/4 inch or 3 inch 12 gauge??
the models and makes of guns you mentioned
well buy the one that fits you best

I think banning autoloading shotguns would be followed by a massive display of civil disobedience in the West. If the Liberals actually tried to ban them, i think you’d see the price of private sale autoloaders triple.

With the four Western Provinces having a total of 77 Seats in the House and the Province of Ontario having 95 even if the West voted as a Block we still have to contend with Quebec and the Maritimes the Northern Territories Nunavut Yukon and Newfoundland-Labrador .
My numbers and situation are totally unscientific mind you....

International Harvester, my advise echos that of the others - no need for 3.5" shells. I have both 3" and 3.5" shotguns, I used 3.5" shells for a few seasons and didn't think the additional recoil and costs were worth the additional pellets. I went back to 3" and haven't regretted it. All the shotguns you listed are nice guns and will work great. Something to keep in mind if you plan on doing any target shooting is that some 3.5" shotguns won't cycle the lighter target loads very well.

Well I took the a400 unico out to Hanley for a round of sporting clays and it functioned flawlessly. Very happy with it and can’t wait to try it on geese next weekend. Probably use 3.5’s just cuz and see how it goes. FYI Graham at Hanley set me up with 1 1/4 oz Kent just to make sure there were no cycling troubles. It’s not as pretty as an m12 but it’s a fine tool.
