Has anyone successfully put a red dot on a Norinco 1911?

Like the title says, has anyone successfully put a red dot on a Norinco 1911? I can't seem to find much info online about what kind of setup I would need to put a red dot on on it.

I believe there is a couple different styles of cuts, I'm not sure what mine is called but I've attached a picture of what I'm dealing with.

Any experience from you guys or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

They make dovetail mounts for those tiny reflex sight red dots.

I would assume that's just a standard Colt dovetail cut.

There seem to be a lot of different standards for width, depth, and angles of dovetail sight fittings. Ones that look almost the same don't always fit, unfortunately.

this is mine ,Novak cut on Norinco1911 45
Can't really see it as the mount covers the cut at rear, works fine.

Yes, the standard Nork has a colt dove-tail on the rear sight; front is different I understand. My Nork has an adjustable rear sight, and it looks more like a Novac, but likely is different. The adjustable target sight is honestly, a great sight.
