I was reading another thread and saw this pic. Is that overkill to have 2 pair of rings on a scope or is he just doing it for an add to sell rings also?

depends on the rifle he is using it on, especially if it is a .50 caliber, hell I have even seen 3 rings on a .338 laupau.
