Was a buddies place for coffee today and of course the talk inevitably leads to guns. He tells me that he has something that I might be interested in. Comes out with a plastic pail half full of brass and 5 boxes of loaded cartridges and a set of dies. First thing I look at the dies made by RCBS, look brand new only thing was the name. 360 Imperial Magnum, hmmm never heard of that one. Then I open up a box of ammo and the first thought was “Holy Crap, what is this thing?” It’s a monster. I thought the bullet to be a 9.3,which from what I can glean from little info I could find was right. Edit :358 The case I didn’t recognize, I guess because I never have had anything to do with Magnums.
Is there any firearms that are made for this round still out there? What does it compare to? Couldn’t find much info other than some guys from the lower mainland developed it then were bought out.
Who out there knows of this round?
Would be interested in finding out.
