discrepancy in ammo prices

BDX backlog

I do not know the status of the backlog. However, I was talking to them on the phone 3 days ago. They have to be away for 2 weeks due to family tragedy.
They are back into operation but thanks to mother nature - the humidity is affecting production quality so the 9 mm low lead production was down for 2 days. They are going to fill as much "backlog" as possible but they have asked all customers to be patience.

PS. The family tragedy was very sudden so please be understanding. They are doing everything they can to catch up.

Don't expect prices at a premium indoor shooting facility to be the same as at a straight retailer. Their higher prices are a means of recovering some of the additional expenses they incur for operating the range.

Insurance, RO Staff, Smaller & more specialized customer base, walk in / inexperienced shooters damaging your firearms for only a marginal charge. It all adds up. Non member shooters are required to purchase this ammo for their day use shooting and rental gun functions. This ammo isn't targeted to be sold a box at a time to the off sight shooter. These guys are doing a lot more than just selling ammo for that price.

On another note, if you want to buy 9mm, I think I saw a pallet of 9mm at TSE for something like $200 for 1000 rounds. That's not a bad price, just a different market.

Yeah a couple years ago I bought 2000 rounds of Wolf 124 gr FMJ 9mm remanufactured ammo. All I can say is roughly ~1300 have been through my Glock and I haven't seen one jam. They chrono nicely at 1100 fps. I'm not affiliated with Wolf in any way but if I ever get short on 9mm (always shooting rifle nowadays so probably won't happen) I'd order more from him.
