Hahaha that is a fair assessment! Too funny.

"beauty is in the eye of the beholder" with that said an ar180 has never been a looker!

People mentioning the flash hider hard to get off.
Mine cranked off with a hard hand twist after getting home from a good shooting session#♂️

Not much done to it yet... Added an M-Lock bi-Pod, faux suppressor, and a Vortex Strike fire II. Oh and a Plano Tactical case for travel ;)
Excuse the G96 over spray.... got carried away cleaning her.

This is what I've done to her sofar. great rifle now that the bolt and bolt carrier have been replaced! also put in a Hiperfire Designated Marksman trigger group.

I'm looking at swapping out the factory handguard for TNA's Super M-Lok. What's the word on those? Are you guys running the 15" or 17"?

Has anybody attempted to fit this rifle with a different handguard?

Probably answered already but some hanguards fit and some don't. Its the WK's gas block that's the problem. Some handguards have a bunch of room for the gas block area and they slide on no problem. Some you have to change the barrel nut, some you don't. Timber Creek handguards are a no go. They're too tight. But Bravo Company handguards are a go. I recommend that if you're looking for a handguard to be able to test it first. Go to the shop with your handguard removed and see if the handguard and slide over the gas block. The gun does look WAY better with a 15" handguard.

Coming along! Just need the BCM Mod 3 foregrip, a better stock, maybe real magpul, and the ACT trigger... for now.

I've been looking though page after page of WK's and this is the only one that I really like. There is a bunch of them that are okay and a lot of them that are just.... what the heck? but this one makes me want to pick it up and say "Hail to the king, baby!"

Magpul sling
Magpul iron sights
Magpul paraclip and paraclip m-lok sling mount
Hogue overmolded pistol grip
Cheap Amazon flashlight and offset Picatinny mount
Mission First Tactical 10 round pistol mags with GS Designs coupler

The first time you shoot that thing that flashlight will stop working from the recoil lol

Went back to basics on this one, the WK used to look like this:

Then I saw a build on Reddit.com/r/canadaguns that I loved so I cloned it!

Upgrades/dowgrades?:

- Reinstalled the OEM Kodiak handguard
- Took off the faux-suppressor and installed a Ruger SR-22 flash hidder
- Took out the Rise Armaments Super Sporting trigger pack because it was giving me light primer strickes and refused to stay in place and keep the trigger pins from walking out, put in an old Colt milspec trigger I took out of an M4 6920
- Optic removed and Magpul BUIS Pro irons reinstalled

Now the real big upgrades

- Sig MCX gen 1 side folding thin stock
- KNS PRECISION, INC. AR-15/MCX picatinny stock adapter

Wanted to go super lightweight and compact, and I got it! The only issue is this set up will only work with the charging handle on the right side (lefty user) since the stock folds to the left and would interfere with the CH.

What pistol grip is that? did you have to cut the tail off?

AFAIK all the MFT AR15 grips have beaver tail so yes you need to cut it off. no big deal.
I got a magpul grip on mine and used an oscillating tool to cut the tail off. took me all of 10 seconds, then i just cleaned up the burrs with a file.

Thats a really nice looking rifle, I just received my wk180c, I'm really looking forward to taking it to the range. Where did you get the brass deflector? I am looking for one like that.

Well the range was closed till 5pm today for an event, so I had some time to burn. And this ended up taking way longer than expected. The flash hider was very difficult to remove. The barrel nut, also was very stubborn. But some heat from a heat gun helped get er done.

Update, the folding stock works perfectly for my giraffe neck eye alignment. But the LOP is a touch short for my gorilla length arms. Firing the beast from a folded stock was quite the experience. I like it.

What in the meth smoking hell?? No accounting for personal taste I guess. If it works for you, that's great. :)
