I have a 1022 with the laminate stock. im having an accuracy issue of vertical shot stringing at 50 yards and have tried different ammo with no results. i lowered the torque on the barrel v block and during reassembly i noticed the gun doesn't fit great in the stock.
its sort of high centered near the takedown screw. even with the screw tight i can move the action up and down very little. the few other guns ive worked on have had absolutely no movement in the stock. im assuming this is contributing to my accuracy issue. i can't see anything out of place on the gun or stock. i am interested in what other people think of this.
thanks.
