Hey everyone! I've got a fox model B that I think is from 1949. I'm just curious what it might be worth. TIA

Sorry I suppose my description wasn't very good. It's a 2 3/4 inch 12 gauge with a 30 inch barrel, cylinder chokes. It needs a good cleaning but is overall in good condition. It's got one minor knick on the underside of the stock and one small spot on the barrel where the finish is scratched (not rusting yet).

You can get an idea of what a 12 ga. Savage Fox will fetch at auction when this one sells at Switzer:

Yours should be worth more than this one though with original checkered stocks, more CCH remaining, original butt plate. Presumably the chokes have been opened up if its now cyl/cyl while still original length.

What is marked on the barrel flats, re the chokes, I could see skeet and skeet, but cylinder , could be , not common.
I also looked at the wood, looks to just be the grain in the walnut.
I would say 300.oo, shorter ( factory) barrels would sell better.
