The only minority gov't likely will be a Liberal/NDP marriage. If so we are up against it. The NDP is as anti gun or more so than the Liberals. Trudeau is taking about banning/confiscating all S/A rifles and handguns. I would hope the folks in Ontario understand flipping to NDP or sticking with Trudeau will be the end of semi auto's in this country.

It will be interesting to see how many cave to any forced confiscation and how many decide to defy the law.

Stop panicking, it's going to be a minority government at worst, no new legislation will pass. Just buy an AR, the more owners of those in Canada, the greater the challenge to prohibit them.

You're naive to not fear a minority government. The Liberals propped up by the Greens or NDP will be far worse for gun owners then a simple Liberal majority.

Lots of long guns were never ever in the system and more were improperly cataloged unless there were Semi Auto Lee Enfield .303 rifles made or Roy Rogers manufactured 1894 30-30's. Trudeau could easily find himself with thousands of folks or more not complying with his demands. This country is not New Zealand or Britain for that matter. This is about the only thing I can think of that might have Trudeau find religion and pass on his ambitions to seize every semi auto out there. The AR's though seem to be in his cross hairs for some reason.
