Always been a savage fan and with all the reveiws I have seen on the stevens 200 I had to get a couple . I bought one in .223 Rem and one in 243 Win
I worked up a few loads for them and went to the range and here is what I got for 3 shot groups at 100y :
With the 243
95 grain Nosler BT (hunting)
40gr of IMR 4831
Win LR Primer , 2.710 C.O.L
almost every load I shot out of this gun is under 1", but it looks like I will be trying tis load out a few more times
And the 223 Rem
69 grain seirra HPBT
25gr BLC-(2)
CCI B4 primer ,2.260 C.O.L
55 grain seirra HPBT
26.8gr BLC-(2)
win SR primer(2 groups) ,CCI B4 (1 group) 2.240C.O.L.
Both guns bone stock out of the box , 243 has a Bushnel trophy3-9 and the 223 has a bushnell trophy 6-18
