Hey all Glock 19X owners!

Looking to upgrade and customize the Glock but having a hard time seeing just what exactly is available in Canada for upgrades/mods.

Anyone have any suggestions?

All are appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

First thing I did was remove the front of the grip to make it flush with the rest of the grip. This allows Gen 5 mags to be used. Then I added an Ambi-Slide stop lever, Vickers Tactical/Tangodown tan over sized mag release and finished it off with a set of trijicon HD XR sights. Done.....and love it!

Boltgun

i upgraded my sites to the Ameriglow Agent ones (in orange) and picked up some of the mags that where suppose to come with the pistol.
then a couple k of ammo.

life is grand!

Looks wicked!!! Hahaha quite a stock pile of ammo too! Where did you purchase your parts? Apparently Glock store won’t ship to Canada anymore?

Thanks everyone for helping out with replies! My first pistol so I’m a rookie with upgrading it.

I'm a fairly new pistol shooter and I have a 19x. I find it is great out of the box. Mine has the metal night sights on it. Regardless shoot it as it is until you really feel like your going to gain something substantial with an upgrade. In the mean time I would spend money on ammo or instruction, not upgrades.

I’m a big advocate in “your gun do what you think is best” but it’s my firm belief that the first and MOST important thing you change are the terrible factory sights. Everything else is serviceable until the budget allows.

I’ve put roughly 2000-2500 rounds through it and I do shoot other guns quite often. I am just looking at upgrading and modding because I enjoy doing it. I’ve customized all my other weapons but have had an easier time finding parts for those weapons along with sufficient information on how to. The 19X is a little harder to find info on as far as Canadian suppliers and so on.. from what my experience has been so far anyway.

My 19X came with the trijicon night sights. Are those what you’re referring to?
I’ve heard the ameriglow would be a good set to go with if unhappy with the trijicons.

That's fair. Maybe look at a stippling job for the grip?

Awesome!!!! Thanks man! I’m in Calgary... that’s very convenient hahaha

I’d highly recommend checking out Jays work at black box, they’re by far the best in the business and are amazing to work with. I myself have 2 G17 projects underway right now.

No the triji sights are fine as long as you’re happy with them. Most come with plastic sights and are known to be the weak point in factory glocks.
