Got some input that it may also be 'Mauser B sporting rifle sight' and that falls under your thoughts as well.

Ha! They’re pretty reasonably priced usually, around a Sako, but I’d rather have the Oberndorf.

Sight is exactly as my 7x57 Type B’s is including font, is there a three digit serial on the back of the 300 blade? It’s been filed it appears as both the 7x57 and my 8x57 (single blade) have .575” dovetails on the sight.
 
The sights differ from my model B Mauser sights

If you look at the base of the sight there is an “insert” that is on none of my model B’s sights

The dovetail dimensions is as Ardent mentioned for the sporting Mauser sights

Also the leaves are different in the way they attach to the base of the sight, the Sporting Mauser sight base houses the central support with the leaf “legs” flanking it on both sides

Your sight base has two supports flanking the central leaf support

They don't look like the express sights on my BRNO 602.

On closer examination you’re darn right, hinges are different, appears the blades differ. Should have hauled the pics down to the rifles. Likely not a Mauser sporting rifle sight.

Don’t worry about it, I was also initially convinced it was a original sporting Mauser sight....until I took a closer look at my rifles. if it was I would have tried buying it immediately
 
I think their from a Voere hunting rifle. I have 2 leaf set that look very close that I salvaged from a Voere rifle years ago.
