N570 210gr VLD Hunting and 300WM

Hey guys and gals,
Has anyone tried this combination before? How do you like it?

N570 is very slow powder and benefits from a larger case and heavier bullet. The loads needed to be very compressed, and this seemed to create some larger SD's and greater spreads in velocity. Better results can be had from a slightly faster powder, at least according to these attempts/results.

Agreed. N570 works great in 338 Lapua but not likely as well in smaller cased cartridges.

Works good in the 257 Weatherby and the 264 Win Mag. Dave.

not to hi jack the thread as i am intereested in N570 in general but do you have any load data for N570 in a 264 win mag.

I use 75 grains of N570 behind the 140 Partition. In a 26" barrel, this yields close to 3150, and great accuracy.
Start a bit low and work up, please. Dave.
