A brief news clip of 3 or 4 guns in the fire is hardly proof that most or all of the Mohawk guns were destroyed, as some people have claimed.

Every nation that has ever been forcibly disarmed after losing a conflict can offer similar footage. None were even remotely close to completely disarmed.

Do you really think the army would've let them take the weapons with them? Dont under estimate the amount of surveillance and control was put upon the mohawks at the end. The army had them entirely surrounded and were closing in on them hour by hour

Yes, but if the Libs win...or they are supported by the NDP in a minority scenario...then they may very well revoke registration certificates and ATTs while the legislation to reclassify and ban guns moves thru the legislative process.

As for compensation, they will give you "FAIR MARKET VALUE" for what they confiscate, not replacement value.
If you think that they will be generous, then give your head a shake. The Liberal-determined "fair market value" of your $5,000 KAC AR15 will be very disappointing to you, guaranteed. And you will have no real choice as your firearms are registered.

Yes I do. Those weapons were given to first nations groups by the federal government i n recognition of centuries old treaties. The last thing the army wants after hostilities ended is to disarm legally armed people and reignite those hostilities.

Yes the army had them entirely surrounded and yet people managed to get in and out every single day. The army was there to peacekeep between mowhawk and the sq. They were not there to win.

They'll do whatever was done before... Restricted will quickly become prohibited and they'll slap on some ludicrous storage laws, just to make it hurt.
 
Really they call it market value, if there no longer is a market for an item it becomes worthless so if they ban it and you are unable to sell it that makes $0. I have a slight suspicion that they will also limit bore size and the number of guns one can own like they did in Europe before total ban where one could only own one rifle leading up to it. Also a person wonders how many guns have been reported as missing.

The fact is there are so many more issues than our guns, debt, global economy crisis, further more why are we holding a foreign nationalist, we were the next open door to north America trade but the USA played us well and your government went along with it out of lack of education. Had we told her not land in Canada we would be golden in north American/Asian trade.

The problem lies with education systems no one understands politics, votes are easily swung by large communities that struggle due to living in areas that are out of there means such as Vancouver and so on.

This is clearly not pointing at the average working person I am not directing this at anyone, but us on the west do never get a voice we should shut of the oil, gas and lumber export to eastern Canada and separate.

It's a shame. I have noticed with this and the states. Ever since we lost the best pro firearms spokesman died it has been a constant down hill struggle. RIP Charelton Heston.
