Rust bluing

Hello all, I have a friend that is restoring a very old Browning Auto 5. ( second year of production) He’s looking for a smith that does rust bluing. Anybody have any recommendations?
 
Paul Johnson PJ's Products passed away this spring. Joan Enright is continuing on his business. Great products however you need the skill set to do the prep and get the desired finish. Minimum cost to rust blue a shotgun is $450. Ron

Oh no.... sad to hear. I last saw him probably early 2018(?) nice guy.
 
I was a good friend; did lots of business over the years. His wife is going to continue on with the business so that's good for our industry. Ron

I only met him in person the one time - he looked ok, but his wife did mention that he was not well - didn't say specifically what but I got the distinct impression that it was Leukemia :(

I like the solution - had about 4 refills so far, it can take a good chunk of work, but the results are very nice indeed.
 
Alain Combe is an European gunsmith at St Rock de l'Achigan, QC

He made a superb deap rust blue finish, not cheap, but very nice.
