7mm-08 or 35 Whelen for final rifle?

How is that even a question? The mighty Wailin' should be the one to keep. I would ditch the .270 and keep the 7-08

35 Whelen is a pretty good caliber, and I think there are probably some manly men out there that shoot them.

I’m pretty partial to the 7mm-08. After that it’s all a want more than a need I think. 7mm-08 does have it’s limits though. Long range shots (for me anything over 300 yards) and I’m not about to go after dangerous game (big 5) with it. 35 Whelen or something like that is next on my list though. Why? Because I don’t have one yet.

Sell the 7-08 & the 35 Whelen. Keep the .270, buy a 9.3x62 rifle. Ammunition for both are found the world over.
