Just a quick update please, how far are you guys into finishing up PR#2? Safe to say half way there?

OK one more time. We are working on the lowers for run #2. The uppers for run #2 are already finished.
Once we are finished with run #2 lowers we will begin on run #3 lowers which we expect should start sometime next month, barring any machines going down. Without wasting a bunch of time to see exactly what numbers are currently in the EDM as that is the final machine op and then figuring out whose they are and what the date of order is it is impossible to state for certain, hence Shaun's response. We are within only a couple of weeks of where we projected we would be. Understand that projection was made nearly a year ago, so I think we were damned close given that we are gun makers not fortune tellers.:dancingbanana:
Once run 3 lowers are done we then go back to making uppers for run 3 and then run 4.

So whose on 1st?:)

Thanks, I think "we will begin on run #3 lowers which we expect should start sometime next month" should be a clear enough answer for everyone.

HI,

I tried to refrain from asking about my order..honestly, I know how slammed you guys are with questions.

I ordered my MS set late Sept, so I understand that puts me in run #3 (I don't know my serial, it wasn't on the invoice sent to me).

My question is: I put a deposit down, but should I pay the order in full now so that it will be "fulfilled" in order to keep my serial number off a registry that is most likely coming soon ?

Or does that not matter if it can't be physically shipped to me before that happens ?

I hope that made sense and appreciate the hard work.

You can PM me if you want my name / order details.

Thanks !

My thoughts on C71: The liberals failed to put in place the necessary infrastructure to PAY for C71, they haven't created the web portal for joe blow to log in and verify someones PAL, they haven't hired the extra staff in Miramichi, and they haven't hired the additional officers. They did not do this while they had a Majority government. This week, they have a minority. They also already capitalized on all the headlines they are going to get on C71 as they've put it through the house and the average Canadian doesn't understand what happens after that. My point is... for them to invoke those sections of the CCoC as I understand it, they'll have to put a budgetary motion forward, and as I understand it, any vote on a budgetary matter is considered a vote of confidence. If it fails, the government dissolves and we go back to an election... as a point of strategy, I cannot see the Liberals putting anything that is not ABSOLUTELY critical to their cause/branding/marketing up for a vote of confidence... Now I could be wrong on this and I definitely invite anyone who's more familiar than I with the path ahead for this bill... but I think C71 is going to sit dormant until we get either a conservative government to scrap it, or a liberal majority to safely ram it through.

My thoughts on Trudeau's proposed gun ban don't differ all too far from what is mentioned above either. I expect to hear a lot of talk, and lip service but see very little in terms of actual legislation tabled under this minority.

On to better topics, those sporters sure do look nice coming through Quality control before anodizing!

Hell yeah !

They look fantastic, great work on the surface prep. I'm very happy with my set. My BCL receiver set was an abomanation in comprison, the imperfections could be seen even under the cerakote.

Damn sharp looking. This is just dripping in quality everywhere.

No over machining for excess styling. Which only raises production time and costs. This is perfect. Great bead blast finish here.

Innovation, creativity, flawless execution and on top of all of that, a political statement.

Rick & Shaun, and everyone else who works at ATRS ... words do not suffice. But I don't know what more to say than "Thank you". Your ongoing contribution to this community and all we hold dear is profound. Don't ever stop.

I like the fact that the current lowers have the enlarged mag release button "pocket", also the increased radius on the fencing looks great. The tight mag release button pocket on my my early production MS is one thing that isn't perfect, as a lot of aftermarket buttons don't fit.

May the force be with you guys out there in Alberta ...may the machines run flawlessly.....and pump them out with out problems

Fingers crossed that mine comes in very very soon

You guys rock rick and Shaun and the rest at your shop

Best Post on this site this Month! Hit every nail on the head with on big logic bomb.
Thanks ATRS, Shaun and all others who continue to push the envelope.

They would have to refund "you"...legally I believe. I don't think they get to keep everyone's money and the product...

Don't forget, businesses have a different type of firearms lisences and are allowed to hold/store things most of us cannot.
