Troy 102 Trudeau Special... $1329

The picture on your site...is the upper receiver engraved with the shooting edge or is it just a watermark? hard to tell.

Nothing curious about it .
The dealers don't want to be stuck with product they have to surrender to the government !

Its more of the reality that because of the potential bolt issue, I had to assemble, shoot and repackage 200 rifles.... at the special deal price, we are not entertaining any whinning about a scratch or two... ;-)

They told me another 100 or so were inbound in a week or two and this price would be honored. There is a list

Awesome.....does anyone know how I can get on this list, or should I just watch the website, or should I be calling in to place a deposit?

I just got off the phone, Dude I was dealing with me seemed to be bothered with me asking questions. He said there are no more coming in and there is no list I can put my name on.... Must say the customer service I got yesterday was top notch... today not so much.

Sorry about that. I am in Toronto at Target for Glock Day, so can't just walk down the hall and flog anyone.

There was some miscommunication:

Yes more are enroute, but most are already spoken for and due to a serious glitch in our brand new POS system, we are concerned about over selling....

They have started a waiting list, but I am unsure if they are adding names to it.

As stated before; we ran this sale to clear out the guns I had to pull out of the packaging. We cannot bring in another shipment and sell at this price. It's 100% a One-off.

Sorry everyone.

Tried calling during in my coffee break to get on the list but was on hold for over 10mins and had to hang up. Oh well, at least the receptionist was nice to talk too.

I assume other retailers had to do the same thing? Whip em out of a bag and do what exactly? What was the concern that you guys had to do this? Curious......

This is hardly a "catastrophic " failure. The premature wearing of the bolt lug (always the same one) is a functioning issue, not a safety one.

Just looking at that pic, it looks like the major chip is at the leading edge, I assume an issue with rotation and tight tolerances, but it's the leading edge not the back of the lug, at that end it's pretty insignificant. There are thingsnto worry about, i dont think thats one of them.

I'm impressed that you guys are running a box of shells through them to ensure function, at the price you are turning these over for on a sale I'm thinking that's not leaving a lot for profit margin. Would love to purchase one of these myself but somewhere in life I choose to have two great kids instead of an expendable income so I'll give some props to this vendor. Hopefully these are available again one day when I have recovered from daycare costs.

Wether or not a ban and confiscation happens, it also involves compensation. Consider that regardless of that coming into force your actual risks are minimized to some level. Wether or not they give fair value is another matter, but your not going to lose full value, and it could even miss NR semi's but grandfather them.. or not..
