Looking for info on Norinco AR-15 Parts: Part Two

Yeah, Norinco doesn't really put any type of marking on their mags. No matter what they were made for.
If you were looking for an AR mag that is distinctly Norinco, they did send us a version of the 30 rounder early on that had a stupid 1/4" x 2" slot cut across the side of the mag to help limit it to 5 rounds.
Norc AR mags, not so great. Norc m14 mags, surprisingly good.

What did those distinct Norinco mags look like? I actually have a Norinco 120 round Drum so I think when I finish my build(s) I'll ring it in with one 20 round mag of Norinco brass and then a drum to celebrate!

After seeing it again it's obvious the cut is way to high for limiting capacity. I have no idea why cutting a side directly below the feed lips is a good solution to anything. But it sure is unique.
Those 311's are neat projects for those here who want to build a more affordable 60's era A1 clone.

Yeah I'm really looking forward to making deals with a few people so I can get some stock sets. I'm also going to be getting a custom 80% lower for it.

Considering I made the thread about the Norinco CQ and the DA556, figured we could talk about some other licenced (ironically) clones. Here is the S.A.M. Armada from the Philippines.

Hopefully one day soon I can do a clone of this as well. Would go nice with an Elisco M16A1 Clone.

i will keep an eye out at shows. i got an older CQ-A-1 model and the BCG is identical to the M16 BCG just the finish is kind of cheap. the BCG i told you about they mush have changed in production. it is cut different and is very very rough. if you want me to post pics of the two of them i can.

Here are some photos. The older one is a true m16 style carrier and is a pretty light colour. It’s also serialized to the gun. The newer one has really rough material removed around where the bolt gos in.its a more greenish Colour.

only the early gun has almost all of the major parts are numbered. the bolts are nothing special. they look the same.
