Glock 17 gen5 mos fram different from US?

I bought a Glock 17 gen5 mos recently, I looked up onling I’m am wondering why in Canada the mos model still has a cut at the bottom of frame?

The USA made Gen5 MOS have the cutouts. The Austrian made ones dont.

I heard that the cut out is being phased out, Gen5.5.

As mentioned earlier in the thread. The USA made Gen5 MOS have the cutouts. The Austrian made ones do not.
