DPMS style .243 cal barrel??

Hey y'all,
I'm used to tweak bolt actions and 10/22s a bit, but I'm new to this more recent trend of unrestricted AR 10s. I dream of assembling one in .243 cal, by personal preference. I can research just about any part except for a specific barrel, 20 to 22 inches, light to medium profile, rate of twist 10:1 preferred, reasonable cost. IBI that are Canadian have more or less encouraging reviews.
My dream cannot be promoted to an actual project until I find an adequate barrel provider. Who to ask? Where to turn?

I get every barrel from jury custom barrels in red deer Alberta. My latest barrel is a 6mm creedmoor for a stag 10 and it's a half moa barrel. He will build you exactly what you want too. All you have to do is get the barrel extension and they can be bought from brownells for 60 ish USD.

I'm only guessing they (Jury) could also attach the extension and indexing pin, ready to install on my upper?

I Bought mine from International Barrels in B.C. , great guys to deal with. I got them to make it in a 1/8 twist for my BCL 102

IBI, I thought of them also, but got mixed reviews online through different sites :/ Seems like a roll of the dice, worries me.
Plus .243 win isn't available yet as announced on their home page. Thanks for your suggestion.

Yes it is. IBI's website is crap. Pick up the phone and call them. They will make exactly what you are looking for.

Yes he installs the extension and pin. He has to so it's perfectly head spaced. You have to provide the barrel extension upper and bolt and he will head space it perfectly for you.

IBI will sell you a barrel extension and pin on it's own. Just email them. It's cheaper than ordering from the US.

I have an extension from ibi. Its not nearly as nice as a bat extension that is 60 usd from brownells
