So I found some TUFF 22 25 rounds mag from dlask arms for sale online. Are these pinned ? If not why is it legal to use these ones but not butler creek or bx25 mags ? Are they made to only fit their own Dlask receivers or can i use them in my ruger EOM ?

I am pretty sure that they are original to the Dlask receivers, and will not fit the 10/22. I think a quick call to Dlask would answer this question for you.

The TUFF-22 magazine is not designed to be used with any 10/22.
Because there are no pistol TUFF-22S out in the market, the magazines are not restricted to 10rnds.

I personally didn't have much luck with their adapter...used the recommended mags and still had lots of feeding issues. You can have your 10/22 milled to accept the new Dlask mags.

Me too to be honest. I think my issue is the recommended Mags not so much the adapter.

Easy with the right tools (mill). Dlask will give you the specs if you ask.

As enefgee says. Please don't use a file on your receiver. You won't be happy with the results. Get proper tools or a machinist friend and the spec from Dlask.

So other then the law that limits pistols to 10 rnds, you could do the same to a charger pistol. Just seems to easy. Wouldn't you then be able to argue the same as the guys that use the AR pistol magazine in their AR rifles. I'm starting to feel like a dog chasing his take.
